THE HISTORY OF OUR SMILES
The endless knot used in our logo is an artistic symbol of a strong bond created by weaving together different parts to form something that’s stronger than the individual pieces alone. And that’s how we feel about the partnership between Dr. Dan Stewart and his patients. Our traditional Celtic symbol, representing the long tradition of orthodontics we have in this community, has been designed in a bright contemporary color palate, representing the practice’s look to the future. The phrase “where exceptional is the rule” speaks to the standard that we set for ourselves and our practice every day. We don’t want our work and your experience to be just good, we want it to be exceptional. That’s the rule here that we live by. We look forward to many years in partnerships where exceptional is the rule.

Brenda is one of our outstanding orthodontic assistants. She has been in the dental field for 20 years, spending the last 10 in orthodontics. We can always depend on Brenda to cover any needs the practice may have – taking records, covering the front desk, etc. Outside of the office, Brenda enjoys spending time with her 2 children, friends, and her sweet Boston Terrier Lucy!
Yukie, one of our fabulous orthodontic assistants moved to Bradenton 12 years ago from Tokyo, Japan. Trained there as a hygienist focused on working with disabled patients, she brings an extraordinary level of compassion and care to our patients here. She and her husband Keith and their 3 children enjoy visiting family in both Connecticut and Japan during the holidays.

Dana, our youngest veteran orthodontic assistant has been with Morrish Stewart Orthodontics for 15 years. She welcomes all our patients with a gorgeous smile and patient, caring attitude. Dana can always be counted on to lead the clinical team to success all while having fun and sharing laughs! She and her husband Jordan are our practice family “foodies” and always enjoy celebrating new gastronomic adventures with their young son and daughter.

Making your appointments with Stewart Family Orthodontics is easy. Whether it’s for a new patient exam, or part of treatment already started, we’re just a phone call away. And you can schedule at either our Lakewood Ranch or our Bradenton orthodontic office easily by calling either office. Once you’ve made that appointment, our automated reminder system will tell you the details of your upcoming appointment, and more importantly that we can’t wait to see you!
- Most of your appointments can be scheduled at a time that is most convenient to you
- A few special appointments (braces on, braces off, etc.) can only be scheduled during morning hours, we will try to accommodate your schedule as best as possible
- If you miss a scheduled appointment, just call us as soon as you can and we will do our best to reschedule you as soon as possible. It might not be an optimal time, but we will surely do the best we can
- If you have a cleaning appointment with your dentist, please let us know when you schedule it. A lot of dentists like the wires removed for cleanings, so you will need to schedule an appointment to stop by and get the wires removed then another appointment to get the wires put back in
- Need assistance after hours? If something breaks, feels uncomfortable or if an appliance is lost, just call us. We will assess the situation and get you in here as fast as possible!
